We had the privilege of partnering with the New York Hall of Science for their 2024 STEM Career Expo, a free event for high school and college students in NYC to learn about STEM opportunities and careers, and to network.
Our co-founders and online events coordinator hosted a table presenting STEAM News, our impact, and how easy it is for middle schoolers and high schoolers worldwide to get involved with us. We loved speaking to NYC teens about their STEM career aspirations and how STEAM News is the perfect opportunity to do independent STEM research and publish your writing online.
We ran a trivia wheel for teens to test their knowledge of STEM history and facts, as well as distributed stickers throughout the event. We loved hearing from teens about how they hope to make an impact on different STEM fields!
