The Co-Presidents of our Orange County chapter had the opportunity to partner with Make Magazine for their annual Maker Faire in Orange County, California. Maker Faire is a two-day event hosting engineers, artists, scientists, creatives, and entrepreneurs to present opportunities and learning activities for children and teens.
Our chapter presidents introduced their chapter of STEAM News and how YOU can get involved. They also ran a trivia wheel for guests to win prizes, such as STEAM News stickers and candy. They even invited younger guests to write down why they love STEM add it to a poster board. Answers such as "Math is in every aspect of life!" and "...You can never stop learning" highlight why STEM education is so important.
We loved meeting everyone there and sharing our love of STEM!
