We had the privilege of partnering with the Intrepid Museum for their tenth annual Girls in Science and Engineering Day (GSED). GSED is a free, annual event for children, teens, and adults that takes place at the Intrepid Museum and invites guests to explore different STEM activities, opportunities, and hear from inspiring guest speakers and panels.
Our co-founders and online events coordinator hosted a table presenting STEAM News, our impact, and how easy it is for middle schoolers and high schoolers worldwide to get involved with us. The event received an audience of several hundred guests. We also hosted a trivia wheel for children (and adults!) to interesting STEM facts while winning lollipops. We loved meeting everyone there, including other teen entrepreneurs and changemakers!
